π Stop #10.. Lake Huron, Michigan
If you are reading this we are now on our way to our next stop which would be #11. We are currently at our halfway point, and after the next stop, we will be heading back down towards home. This was our first stop where we actually spent two nights. Everything we thought we would do, we didn’t do. We slept. I even took a nap and read part of a book. BHV is never ever not in the picture though. Always something shaking at those stores. Between all of the dogs and staff, BHV is its own living breathing animal. I am feeling a bit too old lately. I am heading into 51 in the next couple of months and can remember back to this trip last year about to turn 50. Time is escaping quickly. Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. Wiser words have never been spoken from the “Sausage King of Chicago.”

This stop was interesting. I rented a glamping tent with two rooms with their own bed setups, a bathroom, small functioning kitchenette, and living room. It had full plumbing and electric. It was kind of weird to be able to have a convo with my husband while he is outside sitting at a fire pit, and I am in the restroom. Lucky for me, I rented this for my husband and brother and kicked them TF out of the RV for two nights. I also rented an RV spot next to their glamping tent. The place we stayed was called Dancing Fire Glamping and RV Resort. I think this RV resort might be shutting down due to the season ending, so it was less a resort and more of an RV park. This stop was right next to a Cracker Barrel, so that has become my thing on this trip. Cracker Barrel stores. I opened these Hello Kitty blind boxes, and now I am building a carousel. Please help me. I am spiraling.
One of the things I did enjoy on this trip was their dog park. It was in a central location, easy to get to, and empty all the time. Also, no dog messes. My dogs loved running around. Even little Lanna had a spring in her step enjoying the fall leaves and sniffs. β€οΈ
They loved being free in this dog park

π₯ The movie for this location was actually kind of crazy. It is an older movie from 2000 called Bless the Child. This little gem stars Kim Bassinger and she basically adopts her sister’s kid since her sister is a drug addict, don’t ya know. The kid is weird. Bangs her head into walls etc. Weird stuff starts happening, lots of religious undertones. Seriously.. not undertones, but way in your face all over religious stuff. I kept looking at my brother (who is now a converted Catholic and heavy into faith) I was wondering..is this true? Just the religious stuff not the actual movie. Duh. Anyway there is a pretty famous stunt (famous for Port Huron) that is done on the bridge which is called The Blue Water Bridge. We took it over to Michigan from Canada. BTW they didn’t even check my pet paper work, they just let us back into the states. Anyway the movie is set in NYC, but they used this bridge for the pretty famous stunt. I won’t give it away.
πLottie and Lanna Wore What?? Lottie had 3 outfits. One of them she didn’t like much. It was this bear coat that has a hoodie. Not a favorite. The parka, the onesie, and Lanna’s shirt all came from Little Beast. I am pretty sure I got the bear hoodie from Softosy, but I can’t be sure. I have had it for a while waiting for the cold weather. We did hit Port Huron where it got down in the 30s one night. That was great for me, not so much for the guys in the tent that the walls are so thin you can hear and I guess feel everything.
βπ»Until next time! Vanessa
