- All of our AC and Heating units are on their own breakers that shut off if there is a malfunction or smoke
- All of our rooms have multiple fire extinguishers that are checked yearly
- All of our electrical is checked yearly to make sure it is all in functioning tip top order
- All electrical panels are away from dog areas and clear of any flammables with smoke detectors located right above them
- Both locations have multiple fire pull downs and smoke detectors that are professionally monitored 24/7.
- Multiple silent alarm locations are distributed through BHV to alert the police in case there is a breach to our building and a danger to the safety or the staff or the dogs
- BHV has multiple escape exits through the entire building and evacuation plans with the staff
- BHV is located in a populous area with a large nightlife in which people are around continuously.
- Both locations have the ability to have someone on site when dangers with weather may threaten the ability for someone to get to work to care for the dogs.
- Both locations have generators and the ability to heat, to cool, and to boil water (along with extra water on site) if there is electrical loss.

The truth of the matter is our dogs stay at BHV also . We only want the best care for everyone and that is what we strive to do.
