🌩️ Stop #14..Accident, Maryland

If you are reading this we are still in the exact same place we were yesterday. We made it to our stop in Accident, Maryland called The Bumblebee RV Park and Campground. It has these little igloo looking beehive representative domes you can rent. Our space is located behind the bathrooms, showers, and laundry room. We did not rent a beehive, just an RV space. This was supposed to be a one night stop to get us to our two night stop tomorrow, but plans changed. The remnants of the hurricane Isaias kept us here another night. We did our laundry, and after that, it started raining and never stopped. Have you ever tried to sleep in an RV when it is raining? It is really loud. It went on all night long, all day long, and has just now started to stop at around 7:30 pm. Luckily and unluckily we had two nights at the next stop so we could stay here another night, but now we lose a night at the other spot which is much cooler than this one. We did stop at some farm stands and a meat market on our way here, so we had plenty of food to get us by an entire day inside an RV together. One of us is still alive, the other is buried in the forrest. Kidding about burying someone in the forrest. Maybe.

To get me through the day I ate a pecan cinnamon roll cake thing which was really good, I also made some pierogis which are a must have when you go on a road trip like this. We took about two naps, and the dogs and cats were really into the sleeping all day thing. I texted with my neighbor a bit who was so kind to share a pic of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It made for a much better backdrop than what I was looking at outside. Also, Lanna has been very picky with her food on this trip, it had me kind of worried, so I made her get up a bit more today and stretch her little bones. I then got her some pork chops yesterday from the meat market, so cooked those in the air fryer. She did eat some pork chops, and Lottie had her first bite of pork chops too. She was a big fan. The air fryer is pretty convenient and the pork chops were pretty good. You know I had to eat some so she would want some too. Geez..OH and the shower skylight leaks, so water is all over the place. That has been fun.

🎥 This stop was filled with a different array of watches. First we started that new show on Netflix with Josh Hartnett called Below. So far it is pretty good. There is a lot going on, it is kind of weird, but we have one episode left so do not tell me what happens. Football was also something that was on today. Green Bay VS The Bears. I think the Brewers are on later which I can not WAIT to sit through. We also watched A Christmas Story since we had been in Ohio yesterday and that was a better choice to watch (yesterday) than what we did watch. I am telling you, I know a lot of people do not end up in Cleveland for vacation, BUT if you do, take some time to go by the Christmas Story House. If you grew up in the 80s like me, this movie was on (and still is) every Christmas. The gift shop alone is worth the stop. They even had dog sweaters, but none that would fit my dogs. Walking down that street was pretty amazing too.

👗Lottie Wore What? Today was a veg day. None of us really moved much, and we have been spending the day trying to get Mooshu to poop. He still has not. He hates the rain and at home will refuse to go outside until everything is dry. I did put on this little cupcake onesie for Lottie to snuggle into. We did take a break to play some ball outside, but right away it started to rain again. I got this onesie from Softosy. It is really one of her favorites because it has held up to a lot of washes. Don’t judge Lanna. She didn’t want to change today so I let her stay in her strawberry jumper.

I have worked at BHV for over 20 years as the manager, and then during Covid, took the steps to buy it. I have 8 dogs and I love my dogs on a level that I share with our clients. I try to include them in everything I do. ❤️
